2. What data we process

This site has no forms and does not ask for any data to browse it. We only process the data you give us when you email us, message us on WhatsApp or call us:

  • Contact details: name, phone number and email address.
  • Details of the property you are asking about: location, features and tourist licence status.
  • Any other information you choose to include in your message.

In addition, the server hosting the site automatically logs technical data for each visit, such as IP address, date and requested page. This is used only to keep the site secure and working properly.

3. Why we use it and on what legal basis

  • To answer your enquiry and prepare any profitability assessment you request. Legal basis: steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • To manage our relationship with owners who hire the service. Legal basis: performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
  • To meet tax, accounting and administrative obligations. Legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
  • To keep the website secure using technical logs. Legal basis: our legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).

We will not send you marketing communications without your consent, and we do not make automated decisions or build profiles from your data.

4. How long we keep it

Data from enquiries that do not lead to a contract is kept for one year from the last contact. Client data is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and afterwards for the periods required by law, generally up to six years. Server logs are deleted within twelve months at most.

5. Who we share it with

We do not share your data with third parties unless required by law. To provide the service we rely on providers that process data on our behalf under contract: web hosting, email, and tax and accounting advisers. They may only use it to provide their service to us.

If you contact us on WhatsApp, the conversation goes through WhatsApp Ireland Limited, which processes it under its own privacy policy. Some technology providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they apply the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as European Commission adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

6. Your rights

You may at any time exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw any consent you have given. Just write to info@dcanturis.es or to our postal address stating which right you wish to exercise.

If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

7. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in the site itself. The date of the last update is shown at the bottom of the page. In case of discrepancy, the Spanish version prevails.
